Administrative Coordinator

Position Summary:

  • Handles a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and resolves clerical and administrative conflicts for supervisor and team.

  • Schedules and organizes various activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities.

  • Works independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects.

  • Acts as a liaison with other departments (including all levels of staff) and clients.

  • Coordinates administrative activities for team projects while taking ownership of smaller projects or project areas.

  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.

  • Innovates and thinks creatively to enhance overall team performance.

  • Processes expense reports for manager in a timely manner.

  • Responsibilities include: scheduling, meeting and travel coordination, expense reports, some event planning, basic research, and letter drafting.

Experience/Skills:

  • 2-4 years of related work experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be self movivated and highly organized.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience scheduling using Microsoft Outlook.
