Alena Anderson is the Director of Digital Strategy at DCI Group where she provides leadership to the digital team and strategic digital counsel to DCI’s clients. Alena utilizes her over ten years of experience planning and buying digital advertising to bring measurable results and quantifiable engagement to her clients. By combining smart tactics with evidence-based research, she connects audiences with the right message at the right time.
Prior to joining DCI Group, Alena worked as a Sr. Account Manager at Proof Integrated Communications where she led the development of creative campaigns strategies, websites, and paid and social media activation tactics for clients across the Energy and Telecomm space. Prior to that, she served as Digital Media Director at Smart Media Group where she managed, measured and optimized all digital advertising for the agencies GOP candidates, Super PACs and Issue Advocacy groups in the 2012 election cycle. Her experience spans across several industries including CPG, Political, Issue Advocacy, Energy, Education, Travel & Tourism and Telecomm.
Alena has earned both Gold and Bronze AAPC Pollie Awards for Digital Campaign Strategies in the 2012 election cycle as well as a Gold In2 SABRE Award for Best Use of Innovative Channels: Government/Public Affairs.
Alena received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications at the University at Albany in Albany, NY where she also played Division 1 Soccer for the Great Danes. Alena and her Husband John live in Washington, DC.
