DCI GROUP CO-SPONSORS “PEOPLE’S INAUGURAL PROJECT”

Partnership With Stafford Foundation Will Bring Hundreds Of Disadvantaged Americans To Historic Inauguration Festivities

WASHINGTON, DC – On December 4th, the DCI Group joined with the Stafford Foundation and the National Urban League to unveil the “People’s Inaugural Project”, giving hundreds of disadvantaged Americans the opportunity to join in next month’s inauguration celebration. DCI Group is providing pro-bono strategic counsel and public relations support for the upcoming events, which will take place at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC.

“DCI Group is proud to enthusiastically lend our support and services to the Stafford Foundation for their unprecedented inauguration events,” said DCI Group President Jim Murphy. “The Stafford Foundation’s investment will give many of these individuals a front row seat to history, and will celebrate their profound contributions to their local communities.”

The Stafford Foundation is a nonprofit organization that serves those who are financially disadvantaged. They have donated $1 million for the events, and will distribute at least 30% of the tickets to underprivileged Americans who have embodied hope and change in their communities. Invitees will also be provided formal gowns, tuxedoes and stylists for the festivities. The Foundation is partnering with the National Urban League and other organizations to invite Americans from across the country, including wounded veterans, community activists and those who are financially disadvantaged and marginalized.
