On April 24, 2009, DCI Group was awarded two Hermes Creative Awards for its recent work with the Stafford Foundation on the People’s Inaugural Project. There were approximately 3,700 entries from the United States and several other countries. DCI Group was chosen to receive a Platinum Award for Pro Bono Work and a Gold Award for Newspaper Placement.
About the Award
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, web based innovators and freelancers.
Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and free-lance professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.
The Hermes’ prestigious Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm.
