
Charles C. Francis
Senior Counselor
Charles C. Francis is Senior Counselor to the DCI Group. Francis was a founding partner of the DCI Group where he provides communications and issues management counsel and expertise.
Mr. Francis' career in public affairs began more than 25 years ago in New York City working as a media relations officer and speechwriter for The Chase Manhattan Bank and its chairman David Rockefeller. Prior to joining DCI Group, Mr. Francis worked for a broad range of corporations, countries and individual clients as Executive Vice President of two of the largest public affairs companies in the world, Burson, Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton.
Mr. Francis served on the Presidential Advisory Commission on HIV/AIDS, 2002/2003. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Virginia School of Architecture Foundation. Mr. Francis was the founder and co-chairman of the Republican Unity Coalition (RUC) with David Rockefeller and Senator Alan K. Simpson. He co-authored the first reference on the Congressional Staff of the U.S. Congress, The Almanac of the Unelected, 1989-1991. Mr. Francis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Virginia in 1973. He is a member of the University Club in New York, and resides in Washington, D.C.
