Steven Susens
Vice President

Steven Susens oversees media and communications operations for DCI Group's strategic grassroots communications campaign division. Mr. Susens devises strategy and aids in the execution and implementation of a variety of media relations plans both domestically and internationally on behalf of DCI Group's clients. Mr. Susens has over 13 years of experience in political and international media relations and communications.

Mr. Susens joined DCI Group after serving as Deputy Director for the Global Outreach Team for the U.S. Department of State's public affairs section at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq.

In addition to his State Department assignment, Mr. Susens also served as the spokesperson for the Department of Defense's Program Management Office in Baghdad. His communications career also includes working as a Senior Communications Manager with the International Republican Institute, an account supervisor with Hill & Knowlton Public Affairs, and as Communications Director for Congressman Ed Bryant (R-Tennessee). Mr. Susens also worked as a White House and Congressional correspondent for the Nashville Banner.

Mr. Susens is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
