Brian McCabe

Managing Partner

Brian McCabe serves as a managing partner at DCI Group, where he directs multi-million dollar public affairs campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and major trade associations. Mr. McCabe’s experience at the intersection of business and public policy helped build DCI into the fourth largest independent public affairs firm in the country. As one of the industry’s leading technology and telecommunications policy experts, he works directly with CEOs and other senior executives to develop effective approaches to public policy issues.

Mr. McCabe has 15 years of experience in public affairs, grassroots programs and advertising. He built and developed DCI Group’s award-winning grassroots team into one of the most sophisticated and deepest networks in the public affairs industry. The DCI field network includes public relations outreach, media strategy, national and state coalition building, grassroots activity and third-party relationships in all 50 states.

From 2004 to 2006, Mr. McCabe also served as president of Progress for America (PFA), a $50 million national political organization. In that capacity he oversaw the creation of Ashley’s Story, which was awarded a 2005 Gold Pollie for best television ad from the American Association of Political Consultants. Mr. McCabe led PFA’s campaign surrounding the confirmation of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Sam Alito, and he directed grassroots efforts, nationaladvertising and a major online effort to generate support for the nominees.

Prior to joining DCI Group, Mr. McCabe served as executive director of Senator Bob Dole’s New Hampshire primary campaign. In addition, Mr. McCabe worked for Congressman Bill Zeliff, managing his 1994 and 1996 campaigns.

Mr. McCabe is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire and was recently selected to serve on the board of directors of the University of New Hampshire Foundation. He is also a founder and current board member of Custom Scoop,a high-tech startup company.

He and his wife Loren are the parents of twins and reside in Canterbury, New Hampshire.
