Miriam Warren counsels corporate clients and manages international campaigns with extensive knowledge and expertise in issue advocacy and strategic communication. Her experience at the firm has focused on the development and execution of full service public affairs campaigns involving media relations, federal legislative affairs, coalition building and international policy.
Prior to joining DCI Group in 2006, Ms. Warren served as a legislative assistant for Representative Gene Taylor (MS), where following Hurricane Katrina she managed on-sight crisis communication and recovery and operated the Gulf Coast satellite district office. On the ground, she assisted local communities in the utilization of federal disaster assistance programs and expedited delivery of emergency housing and critical-needs for constituents.
Through her work and leadership on previous public relations campaigns, Ms. Warren was awarded the Silver Anvil of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of American (PRSA) and both the BronzeQuill Award and Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
Ms. Warren has also worked on a presidential campaign in the states of Colorado, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. She graduated with honors from Loyola University in New Orleans, is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi and currently resides in Brussels, Belgium, where she has helped establish the company’s European office.
