Nick Mueller manages DCI Group’s field operations on issue advocacy campaigns at all levels of government. His experience includes direction of campaigns ranging from those focused on high-profile federal legislation and regulation to those focused on regional, state, and local reform. In addition, Mr. Mueller provides strategic counsel and issue expertise to clients in the energy sector. In this capacity, Mr. Mueller offers in-depth analysis of legislative and regulatory issue priorities and develops an advocacy strategy to assure that client goals are met.
Prior to joining DCI Group in 2007, Mr. Mueller spent four years in the legislative offices of U.S. Representative James A. Leach (IA-02). In that role, Mr. Mueller was responsible for assisting the Congressman in pursuit of his policy priorities, communicating the legislative agenda to the Congressman’s constituents, and assuring that voter feedback was incorporated into all legislative efforts. Previously, Mr. Mueller spent time as a reporter for two daily newspapers in his home state of Iowa.
Mr. Mueller is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he studied Political Science.
