In an op-ed published this yesterday morning in Roll Call, DCI Group partner Craig Stevens discusses the importance of Congressional guidance in the cryptocurrency market.
Stevens notes that “cryptocurrency remains underutilized and poorly understood. In the United States, this failure is symptomatic of congressional neglect.”
He advises that “congress can address both problems at once by creating laws that would regulate cryptocurrencies without discouraging their innovative use to potentially improve global finance.”
Craig leads the DCI Group crypto policy practice and authors a weekly newsletter, FOCUS on Cryptocurrencies, which provides a review of policy and politics affecting the industry.
