Dan joined DCI Group as the Controller in 2019, where he is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Finance group. Most recently, Dan spent 6 years at Ernst & Young LP in the Audit practice out of the Tysons, VA office, rising from Audit Intern to Audit Manager, where he led financial statement/internal control audits of large and small clients in industries ranging from construction, to technology, to the government/public sector. While at EY, Dan also played a critical role in training and developing the firm’s junior auditors, as he led audit technical trainings and served as a mentor/counselor.
Originally from Connecticut, Dan completed his Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Business, at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC before earning his Master’s degree in Accountancy from the George Washington University, and later his CPA license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dan and his wife, Danielle, currently reside in Washington, DC, where they enjoy running, golfing, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
