Jon Kemp

Vice President

Jon Kemp provides counsel to corporate clients on communication and campaign strategies drawing on his experience in public policy, advertising, and opinion research.

Prior to joining DCI in 2009, Mr. Kemp was Vice President at Winner & Mandabach Campaigns where he was responsible for the development and management of statewide ballot measure campaigns for corporate clients on issues including natural resources, state and local finance, and real estate development. Mr. Kemp has also served as Assistant Dean of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy where he led annual and capital fundraising activities and was founding Director of the Davenport Institute for Public Policy. He worked on the legislative staff for Congressman Mark Souder (R-Indiana) from 1997 to 1999.

Mr. Kemp is a graduate of Pepperdine University where he played water polo and has graduate degrees from University College London and the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy Board of Visitors. He and his wife Gina have two children, Madeline and Thomas.
