Sarah Flaim

Sarah Flaim joined DCI Group in 2023, specializing in media relationships and strategic planning. As a veteran policy and political communicator, Sarah has a demonstrated history of distilling complex issues and crafting a narrative to move public opinion and advance legislation.

Prior to joining DCI Group, Sarah spent nearly two decades on Capitol Hill. A veteran Communications Director for the House Financial Services, Appropriations, and Budget committees and long-time staffer and ally to former Representative Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), Sarah has a deep understanding of the legislative process and the inner workings of the House. From managing broadcast booking for Chairman Hensarling during his tenure as Chairman of the GOP Conference and as co-chair of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (the so-called “Supercommittee”), to serving as a Senior Advisor to Appropriations Chairwoman Kay Granger (R-TX) as she overhauled the Appropriations Committee and held the line for Republicans on appropriations bills in the minority, Sarah has the experience and demonstrated track record our clients have come to expect from DCI Group. Most recently, Sarah worked with Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and House leadership to craft a successful messaging strategy for the Limit, Save, Grow Act.

Sarah is a native (and very proud) Texan who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Relations from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. She and her husband, Paul, live in Sunshine, Maryland with their two children, two dogs, bunny rabbit, and brood of chickens.
